Specialized Services

  • Yes! Premarital counseling is an investment in the foundation of your shared future. As Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists, we guide couples through essential topics including communication skills, conflict resolution, financial planning, family dynamics, intimacy and emotional connection, parenting discussions, and developing a shared vision for the future. Our goal is to help you enter marriage with clarity, understanding, and a strong foundation for lasting love.

  • Sex therapy is a specialized form of counseling designed to help individuals and couples address sexual concerns. We help with low sexual desire or mismatched libidos, difficulties with arousal or orgasm, pain during intimacy, erectile dysfunction or premature ejaculation, communication barriers related to sex, the impact of past trauma on sexual relationships, infidelity and trust issues, body image concerns, and LGBTQ+ and gender identity-related sexual concerns.

  • Absolutely. We offer specialized open relationship counseling to help individuals and couples build strong, fulfilling, and ethically non-monogamous relationships. We support couples considering ethical non-monogamy, those seeking to establish clear boundaries and agreements, individuals struggling with jealousy or insecurity, and those navigating polyamorous, swinging, or relationship anarchy dynamics.

  • Yes, we are proudly LGBTQ+ affirming. We aim to be a community to support and affirm queerness and the LGBTQ+ community. Our therapists include both allies and members of the queer community who offer a safe and inclusive space to explore identity, navigate relationships, and address challenges in a heteronormative society. We celebrate the pride of fighting against normative standards and celebrate love in all forms.

  • KAP is an innovative approach combining ketamine with evidence-based psychotherapy techniques. For couples, being in an altered state of mind creates vulnerability that can help deepen and strengthen relationships. Sessions may involve one partner taking a low dose of ketamine while the other supports and listens, then switching, or both partners taking ketamine simultaneously during couples therapy work.

Getting Started

  • Couples therapy can benefit relationships at any stage. Consider therapy if you're having recurring arguments, feeling disconnected, struggling with major life changes, dealing with trust issues, experiencing sexual or intimacy concerns, or simply wanting to strengthen your bond. We believe in early intervention - don't wait until you're in crisis to seek support.

  • Your initial session involves an in-depth discussion about your relationship history, challenges, and goals for therapy. We'll assess your relationship dynamics, identify key areas of concern, and begin understanding your unique situation. This is an opportunity for both partners to share their perspectives in a safe, neutral environment.

  • While couples therapy is most effective when both partners participate, we understand that sometimes only one partner is initially motivated. Therapy can still be beneficial, and often the reluctant partner becomes more engaged as they see positive changes occurring.

  • The length of therapy varies depending on your specific situation and goals. Some couples see improvements in a few sessions, while others benefit from longer-term work. We'll discuss treatment planning and expected duration based on your individual circumstances.
