Ryan Hicks is a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist and Licensed Professional Counselor with over a decade of experience helping couples and individuals overcome their struggles, develop connected relationships, and find healing. Ryan has a passion for helping people find ways to be engaged and present in their lives. He is passionate about helping couples overcome the negative cycles that we can all get stuck in, and develop intimacy and connection in their relationships. Conflict is a natural part of relationships, and sometimes we need help in moving beyond our stuck points and healing together. Ryan also helps couples who find themselves struggling with sexual disconnection. Whether you are hoping to overcome barriers to sexual connection or you are looking to explore new desires and kinks with your partner, Ryan is here to help you find the pathway to restoring your intimacy and connection!
Ryan has a broad range of experience beyond his work in therapy with couples and individuals, from time as a Family Preservation Therapist to experience as a Crisis Evaluator. Ryan has also served as a Clinical Supervisor and Faculty for graduate programs at Regis University, Naropa University, Denver Family Institute, and CU-Denver. He has advanced training in Emotion-Focused approaches to therapy as well as Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy. Ryan has also further training in the use of mindfulness, hypnotic interventions and somatic approaches to mental health struggles.
